Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics

Parsley Health · Finance · Remote US, with a preference for Eastern or Central time zones and NYC metro · Full-time

About Parsley Health

Parsley Health is rebuilding primary care around root-cause, whole-person medicine. Our members get board-certified clinicians, health coaches, advanced testing, and a care platform that connects the dots across all of it.

We are a mostly virtual medical practice with care available across the country, and we recently expanded in-network access nationwide. As we grow, we are continuing to improve how we connect growth, care delivery, member experience, and financial performance so we can make better decisions and scale sustainably.

About the role

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Analytics to help us understand and improve the full revenue engine at Parsley Health.

Our revenue model extends well beyond a traditional sales funnel. Marketing creates demand, Sales converts prospective members, Member Experience influences engagement and retention, clinician capacity affects how much care we can deliver, and billing and collections determine how effectively that care translates into revenue.

This person will look across that entire system.

You will help us understand what is happening, why it is happening, and what we should do next. That means digging into the data, reconciling situations where different teams or metrics are telling different stories, challenging assumptions, improving forecasts and reporting, and bringing the right people together when an issue crosses functional lines.

This is a senior individual contributor role. You should be highly analytical and technically capable, including strong SQL skills and enough understanding of modern data infrastructure to investigate when the numbers do not look right. You do not need to be a data engineer. Deeper backend and infrastructure work will be supported by our Technology team and specialized partners.

The role reports to Finance, with a strong dotted-line partnership to the CTO, and works closely with nearly all department leaders.

This role is remote by default, with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones. Candidates in the New York City area will have opportunities to collaborate in person with executives, physicians, and other leaders at our Manhattan headquarters.

What you’ll do
  • Own the view of our revenue engine: Connect performance across marketing, sales, member engagement, clinician capacity, visits, billing, collections, and financial results so leaders understand where revenue is growing, slowing, or leaking.
  • Turn analysis into action: Investigate business questions, identify root causes, recommend what should change, and follow through with the relevant teams. Sometimes the right answer will be a reporting change. Other times it may be a process, forecast, operating assumption, or business decision.
  • Reconcile conflicting stories: When Marketing, Sales, Clinical, MX, or Finance are seeing different versions of what is happening, dig into the underlying data and help the company get to a shared understanding.
  • Improve forecasting and planning: Partner with Finance and functional leaders on forecasts across revenue, membership, conversion, clinician capacity, visit volume, retention, and collections. Challenge assumptions when operational data suggests a different outcome.
  • Own BI and key business metrics: Maintain and improve our dashboards and recurring reporting, establish clear metric definitions and sources of truth, and change reporting processes when they are creating confusion or no longer helping the business make decisions.
  • Improve growth analytics: Partner closely with our SVP of Marketing and Growth Product Manager to connect acquisition, lead quality, sales conversion, activation, engagement, retention, and downstream revenue.
  • Connect care delivery and RCM to revenue: Help us understand how clinician capacity, utilization, visits, payer performance, billing, denials, collections, and other revenue cycle factors interact with the rest of the business, including data from our RCM and  clinical systems.
  • Handle practical RevOps and BizOps needs: Own or triage recurring analytical and operational work such as commissions, KPI reporting, ad hoc business analysis, and other cross-functional questions that need a clear owner.
  • Work directly with the data: Use SQL and our BI environment to investigate questions, validate assumptions, identify data quality issues, and chase down discrepancies before they become business decisions based on bad information.
What success looks like

Within your first year:

  • Leadership has a clearer and more trusted view of revenue performance and the operational drivers behind it.
  • Material risks and opportunities surfaced earlier, with clear recommendations about what to do next.
  • Teams spend less time reconciling conflicting numbers and more time acting from shared metrics and assumptions.
  • Revenue forecasts better reflect what is happening across acquisition, conversion, capacity, retention, billing, and collections.
What we’re looking forRequired experience
  • 6+ years of experience across Revenue Operations, business operations, revenue strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or a related role
  • Experience owning cross-functional business problems rather than only producing analysis or reporting
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, automation, or operational workflows
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently investigate complex datasets
  • Experience with revenue forecasting, funnel analysis, operational metrics, or business performance analytics
  • Experience translating data into clear recommendations and driving toward a decision or resolution
  • Experience defining business metrics and creating consistent sources of truth across teams
  • Comfort working with BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or similar platforms
  • Enough understanding of data pipelines and modern analytics infrastructure to investigate quality issues and work effectively with technical partners
  • Strong communication skills and comfort challenging assumptions with senior leaders
  • Strong judgment and curiosity, including knowing when the initial question is not the question the business actually needs answered
  • Comfort operating independently in a small, fast-moving company
Nice to have
  • Experience in a high-growth, venture-backed technology company
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, healthcare services, or another regulated environment
  • Experience with revenue cycle management, healthcare billing, or EMR data
  • Experience with subscription, consumer, marketplace, or recurring revenue business models
  • Experience using Python or another analytical scripting language
Our analytics environment

Our current environment includes tools such as Metabase, Fivetran, SQL, Python, GCP, Airflow, and Dataform / dbt, along with BigQuery.

We care more about your ability to understand modern data systems, investigate issues, and learn our environment than whether you have used every specific tool in our stack.
