The Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing to shape and drive the overall product marketing strategy across our portfolio. In this role, you’ll conduct market analysis and research, define product positioning and messaging, develop materials to support sales enablement and marketing campaigns, and mentor and lead a team of talented Product Marketing Managers. This position sits on the Product and Performance Marketing team, a team that drives business growth and product success. The ideal candidate has deep customer empathy, thinks strategically across products and personas, influences across the organization, and drives efficient cross-functional execution.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive product marketing strategies that drive the success of our GoGuardian and Pear Deck Learning products and solutions across various market segments.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify evolving trends, discern customer needs, and gain deep competitive insights. 
  • Utilize data-driven methodologies to refine product positioning and elevate marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Develop deep empathy for our target personas and ensure we stay current on their needs, challenges, and overall mindset.
  • Create compelling product messaging and value propositions across products and personas.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, sales enablement and other marketing teams to ensure alignment of product and marketing strategies and efficient execution
  • Develop and oversee go-to-market plans for new product launches, including positioning, campaign strategy, pricing strategies, and sales enablement materials.
  • Drive the creation of high-impact marketing assets, such as one-pagers, product playbooks, product messaging frameworks, and videos to support sales enablement and marketing efforts.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and market data to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and lead a team of Product Marketing Managers, providing guidance, professional development opportunities, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Maintain a forward-looking perspective by staying at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices in education technology.

Who You Are:

  • 7+ years of hands-on product marketing experience and team management
  • Experience managing a multi-product portfolio with unique personas and aligning each product with the overall company strategy
  • Experience setting strategies, leading multiple initiatives, and executing to hit objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-centric approach and desire to be a voice of our customers
  • Ability to anticipate future trends in education technology and influence product roadmaps accordingly
  • Strong work ethic, combining bias toward action with innovative thinking
  • Experience leading research initiatives and analyzing market data, customer feedback, and product performance metrics to inform decision-making
  • Ability to identify and address product challenges through data-driven analysis
  • Self-starter and proactive leader
  • Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short and long-term priorities
  • Drive to constantly optimize and improve, combined with a relentless focus on customer experience

The typical base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
