About the team:

The Product and Strategic Operations team at Credit Karma operates at the center of our industry-leading Product Management and Design organization. We're responsible for maximizing the potential of our product and design talent to accelerate Intuit's growth and deliver exceptional value to our members. As a team of Product and Design Operations leaders, we focus on cultivating our culture, optimizing how we collaborate, and driving how we execute.

What you'll do:

This Senior Manager role offers the opportunity to lead the team responsible for execution excellence and collaboration across our Product Management and Design functions. You'll ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration, drive the creation of exceptional products through co-creation and design thinking, elevate our craft and execution standards, and embed operational excellence into teams' daily workflows. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, influential change management leadership, and deep understanding of product management processes. Most critically, you'll need a people-first mentality and genuine passion for developing your team and the broader organization.

Team Leadership & Organizational Excellence

  • Lead and develop a team of 3-4 product and design operations managers focused on creating a product organization that excels in execution
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for continuously improving our organization to be high-functioning and an exceptional place to work
  • Define and own operational KPIs for the product and design organization, driving accountability and measurable improvement

Process & Collaboration Excellence

  • Drive and manage collaboration processes, enablement tools, and best practice initiatives that create strong partnerships and high outcomes across design, product, and engineering teams
  • Own and manage a portfolio of high-impact program initiatives that advance the Credit Karma product and design organizations
  • Own tools and vendor relationships that power how our Product and Design teams operate

Craft & Innovation Leadership

  • Partner closely with design and product leaders to manage programs that deliver our product and design craft visions and standards
  • Champion the integration of AI tools into day-to-day operations while continuously improving processes and elevating product and design craft
  • Drive adoption of cutting-edge practices and technologies that enhance team capabilities

Strategic Partnership & Change Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on organizational challenges and operational goals
  • Lead organizational change initiatives with influence and strategic vision
  • Manage, coach, and develop product and design operations professionals through an environment of trust, coaching, and encouragement
What we are looking for:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, design, or leading product/design operations
  • Proven track record leading and developing high-functioning teams with diverse experience levels
  • Deep understanding of product management methodologies and design thinking, with experience implementing these in high-performing teams
What we would like to see:
  • Experience with AI tool integration and process automation
  • Background in organizational design or transformation initiatives
  • Track record of building and scaling operations functions
  • Experience with design systems or product craft frameworks

Operational Excellence

  • Demonstrated success delivering Product and Design organizational change that improves collaboration, execution, and craft quality
  • Experience working in fast-paced, agile, scaled product organizations
  • Strong ability to develop organizational strategy, prioritize initiatives, and manage multiple programs in partnership with leadership and team members

Leadership & Strategic Skills

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional influence capabilities
  • Experience defining and tracking operational KPIs and metrics
  • Vendor management and tool ownership experience
  • Change management expertise with ability to drive adoption across large organizations
Pay Transparency Notice: 

Credit Karma’s mission of championing financial progress for all starts from within. That’s why we implemented role-based compensation, which ensures people who are in the same role receive the same pay with variations for geographic location only. It’s all part of a more comprehensive DEI strategy that helps level the playing field. The base salary range for this role is $218,222, plus equity and benefits.
