About the role:The Americas Enterprise Sales team is looking for a Senior Manager of the North American SEAP (Subscription Education and Awareness Program) business to join us.  In this role, you will lead a team of associates who work to address subscription compliance through business model education and direct engagement in compliance negotiations. In addition to managing the team to implement the SEAP objectives within North American, you will partner with the Sales, Finance, Product, and Legal teams to ensure that offerings and services are sold and consumed in a manner consistent with contracts and order forms.As a Senior Manager, you will report to the Senior Director, Americas SEAP & Renewals.What you will do:
  • Manage the North American team of SEAP specialists and solutions architects 
  • Identify, inspire, and guide subscription bookings related to influence and direct engagement of SEAP specialists
  • Forecast and report bookings related to SEAP activities with and through sales 
  • Consolidate analytics and reporting to aid in consultation with sales on account selection strategy for engagement with SEAP - Consult with the Legal team to customize and edit order forms and contracts in provisions relevant to SEAP 
  • Manage relationships with audit partners retained for the purpose of consultation for the program and realization of customer reviews 
  • Serve as an escalation point for negotiation and resolution of compliance findings identified by SEAP
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a quantitative field, is preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in software sales, program management, or software license compliance 
  • Combined background in direct selling of services and subscriptions; familiarity with renewals and consumption-based business models 
  • Sales management and leadership experience with both field-based and inside teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead efforts across a large organization and to inspire and persuade in a distributed, global, multicultural, matrixed organization 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills
  •  Exceptional business insight, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to apply quantitative approach to program management 
  • - Solid financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models; analytical and process-oriented mindset   

The salary range for this position is $216,990.00 - $358,000.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
