Senior Manager, Meter Technology

Location: Hybrid within Service Area States with Periodic Travel Required

Your role in our success: 

This position will lead a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.

Who you are:

  • You are leading a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.
  • Partner with operational groups to deliver solutions to better efficiency, compliance, and regulatory needs.
  • Partner with operational groups to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget by managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with developer leads and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs.
  • Account or management of IT professionals either as direct reports or sourced.
  • Account for translating business outcomes/expectations into clear technical requirements and execution plans. 
  • Serve as the primary contact for operations while directing, solving, and addressing service and production issues.
  • Address meter read issues thru use of technology that is forward looking working with operations and other cross functional areas.
  • Adapt, lead, and participate in architecture reviews of solutions being proposed.

Who you are:

  • Experience delivering solutions/upgrades tied to meter upgrades going to AMI from AMR or Manual.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and processes.
  • Experience managing "meter to cash" process in the utility sector.
  • Experience working with field devices, field data capture, and an understanding of head end systems data flowing to MDM to Billing is a must
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Seven years’ experience in technology management
  • Regular Driver’s License
