Sonos is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Indirect Procurement category owner to join our team. In this important role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for all Go-to-Market (GTM) related indirect spend categories, including but not limited to Marketing Services (digital, creative, PR), Agencies (advertising, media buying), Events, Sales Tools & Technologies, and Customer Success platforms. You will partner closely with the business stakeholders to ensure that we are optimizing value, managing risk, and driving innovation across our GTM ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Strategic Sourcing & Negotiations: Manage end-to-end sourcing processes, from vendor selection to contract negotiation, ensuring optimal value and risk management.

  • Develop & Manage RFI/RFPs: Lead the creation and execution of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to effectively evaluate and select GTM suppliers.

  • Deliver Value & Cost Optimization: Proactively identify and realize cost savings and value creation across GTM spend, tracking and reporting on key metrics.

  • Strategic Business Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to GTM stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic procurement guidance.

  • Support Procurement Operations & Policy: Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement operations and assist with ensuring procurement policies remain up to date.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful category strategies, leading complex negotiations, and managing strategic supplier relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Adaptability and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

At Sonos we consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, which may lead  individual compensation to vary depending on job related qualifications, skills, and experience.  All full time employees are eligible for merit increases, discretionary bonuses, and equity.  Our job postings may span more than one career level and the base pay range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions.

The base pay range for this role based off geographic location is:

$129,000 and $160,700

The specific pay offered will depend on the candidate’s geographic location, as well as qualifications and experience. We apply geographic pay differentials based on the cost of labor in the market.  Employees in high-cost locations may be compensated at the upper end of the range, while those in medium or low cost markets may be compensated at the lower end of  the range. Your recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
