The expected salary range for this position is $139,250.00 - $163,607.00. Employees in specific high cost of labor locations in the United States (such as San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA) may qualify for a geographic differential. Overview
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Senior Manager of Growth Marketing to lead our paid and organic social media efforts. This role will manage a team and play a key part in planning and executing strategies that grow reach, engagement, and conversions through paid and organic social in support of Compassion’s mission.
You will drive day-to-day execution and set strategic vision for social media efforts across platforms and collaborate closely with web, creative, analytics, and other marketing teams to deliver measurable impact.
What You’ll DoGrowth Strategy Development- Build and lead comprehensive growth strategies focused on increasing reach, engagement, and conversion through paid and organic social media across the full marketing funnel.
- Use audience insights, platform trends, and competitive benchmarks to prioritize initiatives and identify high-impact growth opportunities.
- Align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaign calendars.
- Analyze key performance metrics across paid and organic social channels to identify trends, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with analytics teams to track KPIs and build dashboards that provide visibility into reach, engagement, conversion, and ROI.
- Translate performance insights into actionable changes in strategy, creative, targeting, and content planning.
- Optimize paid social investment by evaluating the efficiency of spend and level of effort (LOE) relative to campaign deliverables, ensuring scalable performance and cost-effective outcomes.
- Oversee the team’s day-to-day execution of paid social campaigns (e.g., Meta, Instagram), including audience segmentation, budgeting, creative rotation, and A/B testing.
- Guide the team in planning and publishing organic social content, community engagement, and real-time optimization across platforms.
- Maintain a structured testing cadence across paid and organic channels to refine messaging, creative formats, and calls to action.
- Partner with content, creative, web, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated campaigns across social channels.
- Share performance insights and campaign outcomes with key stakeholders to promote transparency and alignment.
- Work closely with broader marketing teams to integrate social media into larger brand, demand generation, and storytelling efforts.
- 7+ years of experience in growth or digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid and organic social media.
- 5+ years of proven experience leading teams and mentoring talent in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on expertise with social media ad platforms (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager).
- Hands-on experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, native platform insights).
- Strong understanding of content strategy, audience segmentation, and engagement best practices across major social platforms.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Adobe Analytics).
- Strong strategic thinking paired with an analytical, performance-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a purpose-driven organization.
