Senior Manager, Strategic Finance, ALM

We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Senior Manger, Strategic Finance ALM. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, ALM, you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing team focused on delivering outstanding results for the ALM business. Specifically, the Senior Manager, Strategic Finance will be driving optimization initiatives to drive both top and bottom-line improvement and ensuring ALM is delivering in line with performance and budget expectations. This also entails managing strategic initiatives including but not limited to, strategic multi-year planning, M&A due diligence, commercial deal modeling, cost reduction, and pricing optimizations on behalf of the EVP of the BU and CFO of ALM and Data Centers

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Execution: Support the Head of Strategic Finance and EVP of ALM to develop and maintain ALM’s strategic multi-year plan process. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clarity and understanding across all ALM leaders, qualitative research, and quantitative modeling (P&L and capital)

  • P&L Optimization:  You will assist in developing tactical continuous improvement plans as needed, including: resource capacity planning, 3PL optimization, indirect-spend analysis, real estate optimization, commercial / pricing reviews

  • M&A Due Diligence: You will support in commercial and financial due diligence as further ALM’s global ambition

  • KPI Development and Tracking: You will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining key KPIs that support in understanding whether ALM is on-track for towards the strategic plan

  • Ad-hoc Strategy Projects: At times, you will work on ad-hoc strategy projects that will support the business in furthering its global ambitions

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • 5 to 7 years business experience, including a number of years in a senior financial or operational focused role

  • Strong track-record of career progression

  • Trusted advisor to senior executives, demonstrating an exceptional level of emotional intelligence and ability to navigate and problem solve in complex and ambiguous circumstance

  • Possesses a strategic mindset, with the ability to convert strategy into practical plans.

  • Ability to influence, lead and guide leaders at all levels

  • Strong personal communication skills including the ability to simplify complex information for appropriate audiences

  • Strong sense of urgency and results orientation

  • Capable of acting as an effective change agent, leading change initiatives across the ALM organization

  • High degree of professionalism and integrity; is trusted as a leader.

  • Must enjoy the requirement to be highly flexible and take on a wide range of initiatives and manage multiple projects to a very high standard

  • Knowledge of and networks within Iron Mountain would be advantageous

  • International experience and global mindset is a plus

Reasonably expected salary range: $120,500.00 - $160,600.00
