We're looking for a strategic financial leader to join our team as Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. In this role, you'll be at the heart of how AbsenceSoft plans for the future – partnering with executive leaders, driving smarter forecasting, and translating financial data into insights that shape our growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, fostering alignment with organizational goals and professional growth.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive and board-level decision-making, including direct reporting to the CFO.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to forecast ARR, and collaborate with department leaders on performance insights and variance analysis.
  • Develop and enhance financial models to evaluate business scenarios, strategic initiatives, investments, and partnerships.
  • Drive process improvements and automation to increase efficiency in financial reporting, while supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes with Accounting.
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment and assist in maintaining company security and compliance controls
  • Other duties as assigned


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Enthusiasm for a hybrid work environment, with approximately 3 days per week of in-office presence in our downtown Denver location.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High attention to detail, strong business acumen, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial systems such as Cube, Pigment, and NetSuite.

Final compensation is determined based on a candidate's relevant experience, skills, education, and geographic location. This position is also eligible for annual bonus.
