Senior Manager, Events Marketing
As a Senior Manager, Events Marketing, you will lead the planning, coordination, and day-to-day execution of our global events portfolio. You’ll ensure every detail—from booth builds to vendor management to onsite logistics—is delivered flawlessly and aligned with our commercial goals. This role is deeply operational, highly collaborative, and essential to bringing our brand to life in the field. You will partner across marketing, sales, product, and regional teams to ensure every event runs smoothly, delivers value, and supports our broader go-to-market efforts
You possess a deep understanding of our audiences—what motivates them, what influences their decisions, and what interactions move them to action. You use these insights to shape an event strategy that is bold, data-backed, and aligned to business objectives. Whether designing a flagship conference, an executive summit, or a high-impact industry presence, you architect experiences that seamlessly connect brand, message, and market.
You will partner closely with product marketing, sales, customer success, and brand teams to ensure events are fully integrated into GTM motions. You influence stakeholders across the organization, navigate competing priorities, and bring disciplined leadership to complex cross-functional initiatives. You measure success not only in attendance and engagement, but in pipeline influence, deal acceleration, and brand resonance.
Above all, you bring creativity, executive presence, and an owner's mindset—balancing vision with execution and ensuring every event meaningfully moves the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Ownership
- Lead the end-to-end event strategy across a portfolio of external and internal experiences, ensuring alignment with GTM priorities, brand narrative, and revenue objectives.
- Build and maintain an events roadmap, prioritizing high-impact programs and ensuring consistent global execution standards.
- Develop scalable frameworks and processes that elevate operational excellence across all events.
Cross-Functional Influence & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with product marketing, sales, customer success, and brand teams to ensure events function as strategic accelerators for awareness, engagement, and pipeline.
- Influence senior stakeholders on event strategy, resource allocation, and portfolio prioritization.
- Align event goals with commercial objectives and communicate performance insights to leadership.
Event Architecture & Experience Design
- Own the strategy and creative direction for each event, ensuring experiences reflect the brand, resonate with target audiences, and drive meaningful engagement.
- Oversee content strategy, speaker selection, session design, and storytelling across all flagship and executive-level programs.
Operational Management & Execution
- Partner with regional event contacts to oversee day-to-day execution, including booth builds, shipping assets, ordering giveaways, and coordinating onsite logistics
- Manage relationships with external producers for major tradeshows (ITB, ATM, HITEC, WTM) while directly producing smaller events in-house
- Ensure all event materials, prefab booths, and assets are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining consistency across regions
- Oversee shipping schedules, inventory tracking, and fulfillment of event collateral to guarantee smooth execution
Sales & Customer Engagement Alignment
- Partner with revenue teams to drive attendance, create engagement paths, and ensure strong post-event follow-through.
- Enable sales with frameworks, messaging, and engagement strategies that increase conversion and pipeline acceleration.
Measurement, Insights & Optimization
- Establish KPIs across pipeline, engagement, brand impact, and ROI—and deliver strategic insights to guide future planning.
- Continuously optimize the events portfolio, identifying opportunities for efficiency, scale, and innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in event, field, or experiential marketing, including significant leadership experience managing large-scale and executive-level programs.
- Proven ability to set and drive event strategy aligned to GTM and revenue goals.
- Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and operating in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical skills; able to synthesize audience insights and event performance data into strategic recommendations.
- Exceptional communicator with strong executive presence; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external audiences.
- Experience building scalable event frameworks, systems, and operating rhythms.
- Skilled in managing large budgets, vendor ecosystems, and multi-component event programs.
- Expert at navigating competing priorities and complex stakeholder groups across geos, teams, and business segments.
- Proficient in CRM, collaboration, and marketing tools (Salesforce, Teams, Marketing Cloud/Pardot).
- Strong leadership skills; able to mentor team members and rally cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
