POSITION SUMMARY 

AccuWeather is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager, Digital Subscriptions to grow our subscription offerings across mobile, web, and connected platforms. This role is instrumental in defining the roadmap for our digital subscription services, driving audience growth and revenue, and ensuring competitiveness in a fast-evolving landscape. Reporting directly to the SVP of Digital Strategy, the successful candidate will bring deep expertise in subscription ecosystems, customer segmentation, product packaging, pricing strategy, and cross-functional leadership.

This position may be based at AccuWeather’s Global Headquarters in State College, PA, in our New York City office, or remotely for the right candidate.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and execute end-to-end product and go-to-market strategies for digital subscription offerings across all consumer segments.
  • Conduct assessments of Total Addressable Market (TAM), perform customer segmentation and needs analysis, and develop pricing models and packaging strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and business development—to ensure a unified approach to product development and market execution.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities and potential threats.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to support decision-making, forecast performance, and prioritize investment opportunities.
  • Analyze user behavior and business performance using quantitative and qualitative data to inform product roadmap and feature prioritization.
  • Serve as a key voice in business development efforts, providing product insight and support for partnership and audience acquisition opportunities.
  • Communicate key findings, strategic recommendations, and performance updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in digital product management, with at least 5 years developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Digital Media, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven success in managing consumer-facing digital subscription products across multiple platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the digital subscription ecosystem and associated business models.
  • Experience across product marketing, pricing, sales enablement, and communications, with a strong ability to resolve complex internal and external challenges.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to interpret complex business documents such as financial statements and legal agreements.
