The Cyber, Data & Resilience practice delivers strategic advisory services across cybersecurity, AI governance, resilience, risk management, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation. We partner with executive leadership teams, boards, and technical stakeholders to develop practical solutions that enhance security, support innovation, and improve organizational resilience.

 

Kroll is seeking an experienced and client-focused Senior Manager to join our Advisory – Cyber, Data & Resilience practice. This leadership role is responsible for managing complex client engagements, providing strategic cyber and resilience advisory services, developing trusted executive relationships, and contributing to practice growth.

 

The successful candidate will combine deep cybersecurity expertise with strong consulting, leadership, and business development skills. They will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering services across cyber strategy, governance, AI security and governance, resilience, regulatory readiness, threat exposure management, and security transformation initiatives.

 

The Senior Manager will help clients address emerging risks associated with artificial intelligence, evolving threat landscapes, and increasing regulatory scrutiny, while providing strategic advisory services spanning cybersecurity leadership, governance, resilience, and risk management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead complex cybersecurity, resilience, data, and risk advisory engagements from proposal through delivery. 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, boards, CISOs, CIOs, risk leaders, and other key stakeholders. 

  • Assess organizational cybersecurity, resilience, and governance capabilities and develop actionable strategies aligned with business objectives and risk appetite. 

  • Provide strategic guidance across cybersecurity transformation, AI governance, resilience, threat management, regulatory compliance, and emerging technology risks. 

  • Develop executive-level recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases that enable informed decision-making and measurable risk reduction. 

  • Support clients in strengthening governance, operating models, risk management practices, and security programs. 

  • Deliver high-quality engagements on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and driving long-term value. 

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor consultants, managers, and engagement teams. 

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and professional development. 

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to support career growth. 

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and talent development initiatives. 

  • Promote knowledge sharing and development of reusable methodologies, accelerators, and intellectual property. 

  • Lead internal capability development initiatives related to emerging technologies, cyber resilience, and evolving risk landscapes. 

Business Development & Practice Growth

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and deliver additional value. 

  • Lead and contribute to proposals, statements of work, and client presentations. 

  • Participate in account planning, pipeline development, and strategic sales initiatives. 

  • Support revenue growth objectives through solution development and cross-functional collaboration. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the cybersecurity ecosystem, including technology partners, regulators, and industry organizations. 

  • Contribute to thought leadership through white papers, research, webinars, conference presentations, and industry events. 

  • Help shape service offerings and market-facing solutions across Cyber, Data & Resilience.  

 

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, Business, or a related field. 

  • 8–12+ years of cybersecurity, risk, resilience, or consulting experience. 

  • 3+ years leading client-facing consulting engagements and multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, resilience, and security transformation. 

  • Experience advising executive stakeholders on cybersecurity strategy, governance, and enterprise risk management. 

  • Knowledge of AI governance, AI security risks, and emerging regulatory requirements impacting AI adoption. 

  • Familiarity with threat exposure management concepts, attack surface management, vulnerability management, and risk-based remediation approaches. 

  • Experience conducting enterprise cyber maturity assessments and developing strategic recommendations for senior leadership. 

  • Strong understanding of current cyber threat landscapes, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. 

  • Proven project and program management experience across multiple concurrent engagements. 

  • Strong written, verbal, and executive presentation skills. 

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline. 

  • Experience within a professional services or consulting environment. 

  • Experience supporting organizations implementing Generative AI technologies and AI governance programs. 

  • Experience integrating threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and attack surface management into enterprise cyber risk programs. 

  • Knowledge of regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, technology, critical infrastructure, and public sector organizations. 

  • Experience supporting multinational organizations and global security programs. 

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications is preferred:

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) 

  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) 

  • CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) 

  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) 

  • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) 

  • AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional)
