Point B is seeking a dynamic and analytically oriented Senior Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our progressive People team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategy, design, implementation, and administration of our compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they align with Point B’s vision, strategy, and Employee Value Proposition while also maintaining tight alignment with competitive practices. You will collaborate closely with management and internal partners to diagnose improvement opportunities, assist in managing employee benefits, analyze competitive compensation practices, and develop compensation strategies that attract, motivate, engage, and retain top talent. Your expertise will drive decisions regarding salary structures, bonus programs, and sales incentives to create a transparent, energized, and equitable work environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with government regulations affecting compensation and ensuring our pay practices are administered fairly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical tool set, excellent communication skills, initiative, and a thorough understanding of compensation practices. WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:  

Develop and implement compensation strategies aligned with Point B’s goals. 

Conduct market research and analyze compensation trends to inform the design of compensation programs for all Point B associates. 

Design and manage Point B’s job architecture, salary ranges, incentive plans, and other people programs focused on delivering top talent. 

Partner with the Benefits team and third-party vendors to design, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring effective delivery and alignment with Point B’s goals and employee needs. 

Oversee the administration of compensation programs using Workday, benchmarking tools, and analytical tools including Excel, Power BI, and statistical applications. 

Ensure compliance with compensation-related regulations and practices. 

Collaborate with Point B’s People team and management to evaluate and benchmark compensation programs. 

Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation matters. 

Facilitate and lead the design of effective variable pay and incentive practices.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:     

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. 

Professional services or consulting industry experience preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation management. 

A minimum of 3 years working with employee benefits. 

A minimum of 5 years of experience in job architecture.

A minimum of 5 years of experience designing and managing sales incentive programs. 

Sales incentive experience must include: 

Partnering with Sales executives to diagnose behaviors and business outcomes. 

Managing the design and financial modeling of sales incentive designs in collaboration with Revenue Operations and Finance teams. 

Applying best practices and industry trends, overseeing communications to stakeholders, and performing end-to-end administration and payout calculations. 

Experience working in employee benefits including annual renewals, vendor selection and management, and benefit plan design. 

Exceptional knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and applicable laws. 

Top-tier analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and collaborative problem-solving. 

Excellent communication, initiative, and interpersonal skills for collaboration and influence. 

Proficiency in compensation software and HR information systems, preferably with Workday Advanced Compensation. 

Certification in compensation preferred (e.g., CCP)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: 

The estimated salary range for this role is $94,500 - $210,000 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.  

 

Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
