We're seeking a hands-on, finance leader and people manager to join our FP&A team. In this role, you’ll manage two high-performing analysts while owning budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting across multiple departments. This role combines strategic finance with day-to-day execution — ideal for someone ready to lead while staying close to the numbers. You’ll roll up your sleeves to work directly in Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect, turn raw data into actionable insights, and help build the FP&A infrastructure for a fast-growing SaaS company.
You’ll help shape the finance department during a period of growth and transformation in a company making meaningful social impact. This is the ideal role for someone ready to step into leadership while staying deeply engaged in the details that drive results.
What You’ll Do
Lead Strategic Planning & Forecasting
Own budgeting and forecasting for key business areas, with full accountability for accuracy and insights.
Design and manage driver-based financial models that support agile, scenario-based planning.
Partner closely with department heads to inform headcount planning, capital allocation, and strategic decisions.
Own FP&A Deliverables from Start to Finish
Build, update, and refine Adaptive Planning models and financial reporting outputs in OfficeConnect and Excel.
Prepare monthly BvA reports with thoughtful commentary and actionable insights for leadership and budget owners.
Translate raw data into digestible, decision-ready outputs — including dashboards, cohort analysis, and ad hoc requests.
Be Hands-On with Data, Tools, and Process
Maintain and validate data across FP&A systems — from headcount and vendor inputs to CapEx and contract labor.
Lead continuous improvement efforts in Adaptive and adjacent tools; identify and implement automation opportunities.
Support procurement, vendor review, and financial control workflows — ensuring budget alignment at the detail level.
Partner Across the Business
Act as the finance POC for multiple departments, communicating frequently with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, HR, and others to ensure alignment on spend, policy, and process.
Be a go-to resource for understanding the "why" behind the numbers.
Support Board-Level and Investor-Facing Outputs
Contribute materials for board meetings, investor reporting, and performance reviews.
Support special projects such as pricing strategy, KPI analysis, and M&A diligence.
What You’ll Bring
5 -7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance; SaaS experience required, PE-backed a strong plus.
Understanding of accounting principles (GAP) and financial statements (P&L balance sheets and cash flow)
Comfort operating at both 10,000 feet and in the weeds — you’re equally adept at building board slides and scrubbing actuals.
Expertise in financial modeling, scenario planning, and SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, etc.).
Advanced Excel and Adaptive Planning (Workday) experience preferred.
Strong business acumen, ownership mindset, and communication skills to influence without authority.
Self-starter attitude with a bias for action, resourcefulness, and curiosity.
