Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise AI Leadership & Governance
- Oversee all AI initiatives across Operations, Engineering, and Corporate Functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks that guide responsible and swift AI development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Serve as a key leader in the company's transformation efforts, ensuring AI is embedded into strategic decision-making and process redesign.
- Program Oversight & Reporting
- Maintain a comprehensive view of all AI projects across the company, ensuring visibility, coordination, and prioritization.
- Identify and eliminate redundant efforts, ensuring resources are used efficiently and strategically.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable updates to the AI Steering Committee every two weeks, including progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations.
- Process Improvement & Technology Integration
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Corporate teams to ensure technology-especially AI-is thoughtfully integrated into process improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities where automation, machine learning, or advanced analytics can drive measurable improvements.
- Work with IT and IT providers to ensure delivery of business objectives.
- Innovation, Research & External Scouting
- Continuously scan the external landscape for emerging AI technologies, tools, vendors, and best practices.
- Assess the applicability of new ideas and technologies to the company's business model and operational needs.
- Lead the initiation of new AI projects, including experimental or exploratory pilots, to test and validate potential value.
- Build relationships with external partners, research institutions, and industry groups to stay ahead of trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic advisor to business and technical leaders on AI opportunities, risks, and implementation strategies.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
- Support change management efforts to drive adoption and ensure successful implementation of AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in AI, data science, digital transformation, or related technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional programs or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, automation, and data governance.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics into business language.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
Preferred
- Master's degree in a technical or business discipline.
- Experience establishing or operating within AI governance frameworks.
- Background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and leading experimental or pilot initiatives.
- Prior experience in a transformation or enterprise PMO environment.
