Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager of Americas Workplace Operations to join our People & Culture team. This is a full-time role based in San Jose, CA (onsite Monday-Friday), reporting to the Director of Global Workplace Operations. You will oversee our Global HQ and various offices across the Americas, managing teams outside of our headquarters with a focus on operational excellence for large-scale facilities and multiple US locations. You’ll partner directly with C-suite executives to drive innovation and create collaborative workspaces that foster a high-performance culture across our footprint.

What You’ll Do (Role Expectations)

  • Operational Excellence & Facilities Oversight: Direct end-to-end HQ operations, facilities maintenance, and vendor relationships, ensuring a safe, high-efficiency environment through proactive repairs, service optimization, and the execution of major projects like office moves and upgrades.
  • Financial Stewardship & Procurement: Manage the comprehensive America’s budget and procurement lifecycle, including monthly variance reporting, PO/invoice management, and strategic cost-balancing to ensure facility amenities meet both quality standards and fiscal targets.
  • Workplace Experience & Cultural Alignment: Partner cross-functionally with People & Culture and IT to design initiatives that foster collaboration and productivity, overseeing seamless onboarding experiences and local events that reflect and strengthen company culture.
  • Health, Safety, & Risk Management: Champion workplace safety and compliance by partnering closely with the Security and Safety team. This includes leading the HQ Emergency Response Team and supporting required compliance programs (including Cal-OSHA, Ergo, and Workplace Violence reporting) to ensure a secure and regulated environment for all team members.
  • Strategic Leadership & Performance Tracking: Lead and mentor the HQ workplace team while collaborating with global leadership to drive corporate initiatives, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and industry trends to continuously elevate workplace effectiveness.

Who You Are (Success Profile)

  • You are a problem-solver. You seek out challenges because you are energized by finding solutions, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.
  • You are customer-obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor your decisions in solving their real-world problems. You champion their needs from start to finish, knowing their success is our success.
  • You are a positive force. You approach hard problems with constructive energy and a ‘can-do’ spirit that is contagious, inspiring your team to stay focused on the solution.
  • You operate with urgency. You understand that in a high-growth environment, speed and quality are not mutually exclusive. You have a relentless focus on execution and a bias for action, delivering high-impact results quickly to win for the customer and the team.
  • You are data-driven. You use data and analytics to find the truth, measure what matters, and guide informed decisions. You value evidence over assumptions, replacing “I think” with “I know” to drive better outcomes.

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 8+ years of experience in workplace solutions, facilities, or similar roles with a focus on program management.
  • Experience managing a global-centric headquarters and overseeing large-scale office builds, renovations, and relocations
  • Direct experience overseeing multiple office locations across the United States
  • Demonstrated expertise in vendor negotiations, management, and facilities budget development
  • Experience managing and leading workplace teams outside of a central headquarters

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience managing workplace operations and teams in Canada or Latin America
  • Deep passion for workplace innovation and the ability to work effectively within global, multicultural teams
