About the Role:

Interested in joining a top notch marketing team at a $2B-valued, Series E unicorn? We are looking for an A-player who loves a fast paced, high performing environment and thrives on results. As the Senior Manager, Account Based Marketing, you will work directly with leadership and teammates from across sales, field marketing, and digital marketing to help Kong break into and drive revenue from its top strategic accounts, plus build a framework to scale this program globally

What you’ll do

  • Work with sales, field, and digital marketing teams to increase engagement and source pipeline at ABM accounts.

  • Orchestrate sales, field marketing, and digital marketing motions to surround an account across inbound, outbound, digital, and in-person channels.

  • Identify account pain points and digital transformation initiatives and map them to Kong value propositions and sales plays.

  • Partner with sales to create account plans (org charts), identify buying groups, and write messaging for the personas in the buying group.

  • Collaborate with marketing operations (MOPs) on ABM reporting infrastructure to measure program impact, plus consolidate account signals into actionable next steps for sales, field, and digital teams.

  • Evaluate results against goals, and generate learnings for improvement.

  • Responsible for drafting content and tailored account pages, plus working with the broader marketing team to publish pages.

  • Build strong relationships with Sales to act on sales deliverables and communication.

What is Needed

  • 8-10 years experience building and running account based marketing (ABM) programs.

  • Proven record of driving increased engagement and pipeline in ABM accounts.

  • Experience building ABM reporting infrastructure to measure program impact, performance, and areas for improvement.

  • Experience setting service level agreements (SLAs) and next steps with sales.

  • Experience building registration pages for in-person and digital experiences

  • Ability to program manage global stakeholders to deliver builds and activities on-time.

  • Understanding of how paid media can support ABM initiatives and ability to work with our paid media team to shape ABM paid motions.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketo.

  • Experience supporting in-person and digital events.

  • Adaptable and solutions-oriented. You thrive in ambiguity, pivot gracefully, and maintain momentum even when plans change.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to influence and align across working styles and competing priorities.

  • Previous experience owning a sourced pipeline target.

Nice to haves

  • Geo experience outside of the US

  • Experience working with Clay to create buying groups and enrich leads.

  • Familiarity with AirOps and/or similar AI-workflow tools to create content and perform account research.

  • Familiarity with Octave, Instantly and other cold outbound tools.
