Sr. Loan Analysts manage pre-closing activities for complex commercial leasing, working capital and term loans. In this role, they coordinate the closing process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong communication skills experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving products and priorities.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate pre-closing activities for leasing, working capital, and term loans in partnership with customers, underwriters, loan officers, and the sales team
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, departmental SLAs, and other applicable requirements
  • Manage multiple loan pipelines at once while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail across loan and leasing products
  • Prepare, review, and finalize audit-ready loan files for closing
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to frequent changes as products expand and portfolios grow
  • Help develop, update, implement, and maintain policies and procedures
  • Support additional responsibilities, including task assignments, new employee training, and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial loan or leasing documentation and closing
  • 2+ years of banking experience with working knowledge of applicable regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a formal SBA loan documentation training program
  • Experience with commercial leasing and working capital loans

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
