Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to join the Digital Technology & Innovation (DTI) Technology Finance Team. This role supports the DTI organization by managing end-to-end financial activities and serving as a trusted finance partner to technology leaders.
The Lead Finance Analyst will oversee technology budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes; lead annual planning and investment prioritization; and provide clear financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leaders across Technology and Finance to deliver transparent reporting, actionable analytics, and executive-ready financial narratives

The Lead Finance Analyst will oversee technology budgeting, forecasting, and financial close processes; lead annual planning and investment prioritization; and provide clear financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with senior leaders across Technology and Finance to deliver transparent reporting, actionable analytics, and executive-ready financial narratives
In this role, you will:
- Manage technology budgeting processes, financial close, and forecast updates for the DTI organization
- Lead the annual budgeting process, overseeing business case prioritization for technology investments and expenditures while maintaining governance and financial transparency
- Provide reporting on key metrics and performance indicators related to the technology workforce, resource management, investment expenditure, vendor usage, and infrastructure strategy
- Partner with Technology leaders across DTI to support business objectives
- Prepare strategy and financial presentations and narratives for senior management
- Prepare and manage business case financials for initiatives and investments within assigned organizations
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement financial management solutions and toolsets aligned with industry practices
- Support the adoption of technology finance tools through ongoing process improvements and integration within the financial data ecosystem
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities, including streamlining processes and reporting and analyzing financial and headcount trends
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Demonstrated experience in Technology Finance
- Prior experience partnering with senior leaders across business, technology & finance
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and translate large data sets
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Assess stakeholder needs and build effective relationships
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule
