About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of new Small Business Credit Card products. This role will serve as a strategic leader, responsible for setting the vision and roadmap for innovative offerings that meet the evolving needs of small business customers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of strategic thinking, customer-centric design, analytical skills and cross-functional leadership to drive new product innovation from concept to launch.
This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Small Business Credit Card at Wells Fargo. You will lead the development of new product strategies, identify market opportunities, and design differentiated solutions that deliver value to our customers. You will collaborate closely with partners across Risk, Finance, Analytics, Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Legal to bring new products to life and ensure successful implementation in market.

In this role, you will:
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership to define and drive the vision for new Small Business Credit Card products and capabilities.
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise.
- Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify unmet needs and emerging trends.
- Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights and develop strategic recommendations that drive business decisions.
- Design and deliver innovative, scalable product solutions that align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Provide thought leadership and direction to cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and delivery of new products.
- Influence long-term planning and investment decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executive leadership
- Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics
- Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer
- 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience leading, designing and implementing new credit card products
- Robust data, customer research and analysis skills with a proven ability to generate actionable, data-driven recommendations and solutions
- Structured analytical thinker, problem-solver and communicator; excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in a high pressure fast paced environment to meet competing deadlines
- Financial services experience with strong understanding of Credit Card or Retail Banking
- Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions
- Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels
- Exceptional problem solving abilities
- Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
- This role offers a hybrid work schedule.
- Some travel required: ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
