About This Role
This role sits within Wells Fargo Wholesale Digital, the organization responsible for delivering secure, scalable digital platforms for the bank's Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) clients. These businesses serve middle-market, large corporate, and institutional clients who depend on Wells Fargo's digital capabilities to manage cash, execute transactions, and operate their businesses at scale. Within Wholesale Digital, CB/CIB Digital drives the end-to-end digital experiences that enable trusted interactions across web, mobile, APIs, and internal platforms. Operating in a highly regulated environment, this group balances security, usability, and performance to support some of the most complex financial workflows at the bank.
As Lead Digital Product Manager, you will serve as the single-threaded owner for authentication strategy and platform execution, defining how customers and employees securely access Wells Fargo's wholesale digital experiences today and in the future. You will lead initiatives spanning identity verification, multi-factor and adaptive authentication, token and credential modernization, device trust, and risk-based access-partnering closely with engineering, cybersecurity, fraud, risk, and design leaders.
This role requires deep expertise in authentication and identity platforms-or a strong product and data background focused on authentication-driven experiences-combined with the ability to lead enterprise-scale modernization efforts end to end.
Why This Role Matters
Authentication is the front door to every digital interaction-and sits at the intersection of trust, security, and user experience. In Wholesale Digital, the authentication platform protects high-value client relationships, safeguards the bank, and enables digital growth across CB and CIB.
In this role, you will define how millions of secure interactions occur across Wells Fargo's wholesale ecosystem, setting the foundation for modern digital access while navigating evolving threats, regulatory expectations, and client needs. This is a rare opportunity to build and modernize an enterprise authentication platform at scale, influence executive decision-making, and shape the future of secure digital experiences in one of the world's largest financial institutions.
