About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Defect Management Analyst as part of Wealth and Investment Management Data Management Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
  • Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
  • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
  • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
  • Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
  • Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
  • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
  • Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Comfort and success in driving clarity from ambiguity across multiple functions
  • Familiarity with evaluating and interpreting regulatory requirements to identify gaps and required controls in a data environment
  • Ability to communicate complex items to non-technical audiences in simple cohesive manner using connected stories
  • Detail oriented and thorough with both written and verbal communications that enable non subject matter experts to understand the requirement, gap, and action taken to implement sustainable controls
  • Experience with data flow, process design, process integration, and KPIs
  • Experience identifying data defect risk and conducting control audit and analysis
  • Experience working in data risk & governance function in large enterprise data management environment

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule in one of the listed job locations

This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
