Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Growth Strategy Consultant within Global Payments & Liquidity.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor within Business Growth Strategy functional area to senior leadership in order to develop or influence initiatives that promote and advance companywide finance growth opportunities
  • Participate in process to both identify and purchase potential acquisition opportunities as well as loans in the secondary market
  • Lead business development strategies requiring in-depth evaluation
  • Support various Business Growth Strategy projects to maximize growth opportunities and minimize expenses
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise within Business Growth Strategy functional area to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business strategies that enhance companywide finance and growth
  • Collaborate with all levels of professionals and managers companywide and serve as an advisor to leadership within Business Growth Strategy functional area
  • Provide strong vision, direction, and digital product expertise to sales teams on complex client needs
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including external clients, and internal sales and product teams across Wells Fargo

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in Payments Space with a preferred focus on payables solutions
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with ERPs and Treasury Workstations
  • Experience solutioning with Instant Payments, APIs, and emerging payment technologies
  • Experience with technical business documentation like workflow diagrams, proposals, SOWs, RFPs
  • Strong presentation and demo skills required, with ability to present at executive and non-executive levels
  • Previous sales experience in a client facing capacity at the Treasurer and CFO levels, covering emerging middle market, middle market, commercial banking, and large global corporations.
  • Proficiency in structuring multifaceted complex treasury and cash management solutions across various segments and industries.

Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship
  • Ability to work on-site at approved location at least three days a week
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to client office locations

Pay Range:

San Francisco, CA & New York, NY Pay Range: $138,500.00 - $287,600.00 annually

Denver, CO, Minneapolis, MN, & Portland, OR Pay Range: $120,400.00 - $250,000.00 annually
