Role Description
As a Senior IT Systems Engineer, in the IT Corp team, your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and comprehensive support for cross-functional teams within GFiber. You'll drive efficiency by automating processes and leveraging your technical support expertise, strategic mindset, and leadership abilities to implement IT solutions across our expanding organization.
In this role, you'll:
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams to deeply understand their business processes and IT needs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network and software issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking challenges efficiently to maintain high availability.
- Proactively identify opportunities for IT solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable IT systems and infrastructure solutions.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Administrator in a Corporate IT environment.
- Experience managing Windows 11 workstation with Microsoft Intune.
- Experience configuring Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
It's preferred if you have:
- Experience in managing operating systems. (e.g., Windows, ChromeOS, MacOS).
- Experience with device management solutions. (e.g., Kandji, Intune, Workspace).
- Experience managing identity management solutions. (e.g., Okta, Entra ID)
- Experience deploying and managing office networks. (e.g., LAN, Wireless).
- Experience with video conferencing, security camera systems, and AV equipment.
- Experience with any scripting language (i.e. Python or PowerShell).
- Ability to use written and verbal communication to explain fixes and ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $136,000- $198,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
