The Senior Insights Analyst will build a data foundation, drive analytics, and provide actionable insights to enhance sales performance and revenue growth.
As a Senior Sales Insights Partner focused on the Global Sales & Channel Organization, you will play a crucial role in enabling strategic decision-making through data-driven insights, performance measurement, and analytics innovation. You’ll drive cross-functional influence across Sales Strategy, Finance, Deal Operations, and Engineering. Impact areas include planning and forecasting, sales productivity measurement, operational excellence, and analytics infrastructure governance.
You will play a crucial part in defining scalable and repeatable reporting foundations. You’ll get substantial senior leadership exposure, opportunities to work with cross-functional peers, and help shape Dropbox’s go-to-market data strategy.
Aligning with our Customer Strategy & Operations (CSO) organization and partnering with our Global Sales and Channel Leadership Teams, this role owns the design and delivery of a strong, flexible, and future-ready data foundation for Dropbox’s Sales Analytics function.
Responsibilities
- Lead the scoping, design, and delivery of end-to-end data architecture supporting automated, standardized Sales Analytics reporting
- Establish and enforce scalable data definitions and KPIs aligned with industry standards
- Design and maintain automated dashboards and ad hoc reporting to provide executive visibility into sales performance, seller productivity, and pipeline health
- Mentor and guide others in analytics best practices, dashboard design, and data storytelling as a subject expert
- Translate complex data into clear business insights across functions, especially in forecasting, benchmarking, and sales methodology effectiveness
- Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, and Enablement teams to drive data-informed recommendations that reduce seller friction and drive revenue acceleration
- Build and foster high-trust, cross-functional relationships as a visible subject-matter expert in analytics and data governance
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in B2B sales/revenue analytics, within SaaS, with deep familiarity with sales operations and go-to-market functions
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale analytics programs and automating reporting workflows
- Expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce dashboards, Excel)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or R), with working knowledge of ETL concepts and querying data lakes (e.g., Databricks)
- Deep understanding of SaaS sales metrics, pipeline management, and performance forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, with ability to synthesize insights into executive-ready narratives
- High comfort with ambiguity and complex problem solving with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience mentoring analytics professionals and influencing without authority
- Familiarity with AI/ML-driven analytics and automation strategies
- Background in CRM data hygiene, governance, and data quality improvement
