Senior Human Resources Generalist

*This role is remote but must be in the Mountain/Pacific time zone.

Overview:
Sr. Generalist will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS management, compliance, and strategic HR initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about HR leadership and have a proven track record of success in driving organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Employee Relations and Performance Management:
-    Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related issues.
-    Lead investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
-    Develop and implement strategies to promote positive employee relations and a culture of open communication and collaboration.

2.    Benefits Administration and HRIS Management:
-    Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
-    Serve as a subject matter expert on benefits-related matters and provide guidance to employees on benefit options and enrollment.
-    Manage the HRIS system and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits data.

3.    HR Compliance and Policy Adherence:
-    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
-    Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
-    Update and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect changes in regulations and best practices.

4.    HR Projects and Strategic Initiatives:
-    Lead or participate in HR projects and strategic initiatives to support departmental goals and business objectives.
-    Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
-    Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications:
-    Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

-  Prefer Bilingual in English/Spanish.
-    6+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HR operations, employee relations, and strategic HR initiatives.
-    Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
-    Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-    Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
-    Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-    HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
