We're looking for a Lead Growth Hacker who can conceive campaigns, craft compelling copy, and identify hooks, angles, and clever positioning strategies that drive major step-function results for our B2B startup.

You're an expert in crafting narratives that resonate deeply with target audiences, sparking interest, urgency, and genuine buying decisions without ever sounding "salesy" or like “marketing”. Everything you do is an experiment, and your results are quantifiable. You use creativity, paired with your strategic insights, to directly influence business growth and customer acquisition - and you are able to do every stop of the process (from idea, hook, implementation and confirmation of results) yourself.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and execute clever, high-impact experiments driven by outstanding NOT SALESY / MARKETING copy delivered via email sequences, videos, landing pages, one-pagers, and campaigns.
  • Find the unique angle, hook, or insight that positions our product as indispensable to our target audience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to generate fresh ideas for campaigns and strategic messaging.
  • Experiment by creating new tools, offers, content, ads and associated copy to drive leads and sales.
  • Constantly experiment, measure, and refine messaging to increase engagement and drive revenue growth.
  • Translate complex solutions into human, conversational, persuasive language that doesn’t feel like traditional marketing.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 4+ years of experience in growth, marketing, writing roles at an early-stage or growth-stage startup.
  • Proven ability to uncover insights, craft strategic narratives, and produce clever copy that converts.
  • Demonstrated success in ideating, executing, and scaling creative marketing campaigns or growth experiments.
  • Exceptional writing skills; you’re precise, persuasive, engaging, and effortlessly conversational.
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze performance metrics and iterate rapidly.
  • Innate understanding of B2B buyers, particularly how to grab attention and drive urgency authentically.
Bonus Points If You:
  • Have worked in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and thrived amid ambiguity.
  • Can point to specific growth experiments or campaigns that you've executed which resulted in meaningful business impact.
  • Have experience selling complex products or solutions in a B2B setting.
Why This Role Matters:

You’ll directly shape how our customers see us and influence the growth trajectory of the company. If you’re hungry to see your words and ideas translate directly into revenue, this is your opportunity.

What you believe:

  • No job is too small.
  • Sincerity builds trust.
  • Setbacks fuel progress.
  • Efficiency is vital.

Salary range: $120,000-$180,0000 based on experience level

Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA & FSA options
  • Paid Parental Leave
  • Access to Talkspace & Health Advocate
  • Flexible PTO
  • Commuter Benefits
  • 401K
  • Company paid life insurance
  • Voluntary supplemental life insurance
  • Free in-office lunch on Wednesdays
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Summer Fridays
  • Monthly L&D Series
  • Employee Resource Groups (e.g. DEIB Committee, Run Club)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company, one of the true leaders within energy efficiency in the Northeast. You will be surrounded by talented people, including working very closely with our co-founder and sales leader. Your success will also make a tangible impact on reducing carbon emissions across the country, within the cities where we operate.
