The paid growth marketing team at Credit Karma supports company growth by owning the strategy and execution of our marketing campaigns across a wide range of verticals and acquisition efforts. The team oversees testing and growth across paid search, programmatic and direct site buys/partnerships. As a Senior Growth Marketing Manager, you will own and scale paid search programs for Credit Karma’s auto insurance vertical. You’ll lead end-to-end growth strategy, campaign execution, testing, and optimization across major platforms like Google and Microsoft Ads. Additionally, you’ll help define how personalized, offsite offers are brought to life through paid channels, and will influence the company’s broader performance marketing roadmap.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead Paid Search Strategy & Execution: Own Credit Karma’s auto insurance paid search accounts across platforms like Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other emerging engines. Drive performance by scaling campaigns efficiently and meeting ROAS and LTV goals.
  • Innovate with Personalization & Experimentation: Develop, execute, and measure experiments (A/B, geo, audience segmentation) to deliver hyper-personalized experiences across the funnel.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product marketing, analytics, partner success, and creative teams to deliver compelling messaging and drive member acquisition across all funnel stages.
  • Drive Optimization Through Insights: Track and analyze campaign KPIs to identify trends and optimization levers. Own continuous testing and performance tuning to improve cost-efficiency and member engagement.
  • Report and Influence: Present strategy, progress, and learnings to senior stakeholders, providing insights that influence paid marketing and broader growth initiatives.
What’s Great About the Role:
  • High-Impact Ownership: You’ll be a key leader in scaling a critical growth channel from the ground up - driving performance in one of the most competitive and high-intent verticals: auto insurance.
  • Innovative Marketing at Scale: Be at the forefront of delivering hyper-personalized financial products through paid media. This role directly supports cutting-edge initiatives to bring Credit Karma’s mission to life off-platform.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside some of the best minds in growth, creative, data science, and product marketing—gaining exposure to holistic marketing and product strategy.
  • Visibility & Growth: This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership, and the outcomes of your work will have measurable business impact, shaping Credit Karma’s approach to member acquisition and engagement.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years in performance marketing with a strong focus on paid search
  • 3+ years hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns (Google, Microsoft Ads)
  • Proven track record of scaling paid media programs efficiently and meeting ROAS goals
  • Experience in the auto insurance industry or a highly regulated vertical
What we would like to see:
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders from IC to VP level
  • Strong mentorship skills and experience managing or coaching junior team members
  • Proficient in performance analysis; experience with SQL or data tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) is a plus
  • Comfortable presenting strategy, findings, and forecasts to senior leadership
Benefits Include:
  • Medical and Dental Coverage
  • Retirement Plan
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Wellness perks
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Baby Bonding, Cultural Observance, & More)
  • Education Perks
  • Paid Gift Week in December
