You will be responsible for the strategy and execution across key performance channels, focusing on user growth, ROAS, and acquisition cost efficiency. This role requires a proactive leader who understands the sports-trading landscape, consumer behavior, and high-performance growth marketing strategies tailored to sports enthusiasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the Performance Marketing Strategy:
-Develop and lead the end-to-end strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of performance marketing initiatives in the US.
-Manage and oversee campaigns across different advertising activities across all media channels, including but not limited to Google (Search, Display, YouTube), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and programmatic channels.
Drive Growth at Scale:
- Build and manage full-funnel campaigns focused on user acquisition, activation, and retention within the sports trading sector.
-Identify growth opportunities through continuous experimentation and A/B testing tailored to sports fans.
-Optimize landing pages and conversion flows for both web and app acquisitions in collaboration with Product and Creative teams.
Data-Driven Execution:
- Manage and allocate substantial media budgets with a strong focus on efficiency and ROI.
-Utilize analytics platforms and attribution tools to evaluate campaign performance, user quality, and lifetime value.
-Report on key KPIs and growth drivers to executive stakeholders.
Hands-on Leadership:
- Lead and develop a regional performance marketing team, fostering accountability and continuous learning within the sports contracts niche.
-Cultivate a high-performance culture that is data-informed, user-focused, and agile.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Familiarity with the U.S. sports trading market, including consumer behavior, industry trends, and regulations.
- Deep platform expertise across paid social, paid search, programmatic, and mobile app user acquisition.
- Proven success in managing substantial acquisition budgets and scaling digital marketing for sports trading products.
- Experience in sports trading environments.
- Solid understanding of sports trading products and consumer behavior within this ecosystem.
- Highly analytical mindset with a strong grasp of marketing metrics, attribution models, and funnel performance.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment characterized by high ambiguity and rapid change.
- Experience marketing to sports enthusiasts, particularly Gen Z and millennial audiences, with a focus on mobile-first experiences.
- Familiarity with community growth strategies within sports trading.
- Proficiency in using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Looker for in-depth performance analysis.
- Exposure to international markets and knowledge of regulatory-sensitive user acquisition.
