About the role:

We’re looking for a highly adaptable, conversion-driven Senior Growth Designer to join our Brand & Creative team, with a primary focus on paid social performance design. In this role, you’ll design creative that doesn’t just look great—it drives measurable results across platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging paid social channels.

You’ll bring our brand to life through high-impact paid social ads, developing thumb-stopping creative that is built to test, learn, and scale. While paid social is the core focus, your work will also extend into adjacent growth touchpoints — including email, landing pages, affiliate creative, internal decks, and more.

You’ll collaborate closely with marketers, copywriters, and channel stakeholders to understand performance objectives, audience insights, and testing strategies—then translate that knowledge into smart, high-converting creative. Your work will range from rapid ad iteration and optimization to net-new concept development, with a strong focus on scaling what works through paid social while supporting broader growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-moving, experiment-driven environment and is fluent in the demands of paid social creative. You can pivot quickly, respond to real-time performance data, and own projects from concept to execution—while ensuring every asset remains on-brand, clear, and strategically impactful across channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design a high volume of performance-driven paid social creative, including static ads, motion, and short-form video optimized for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Support creative needs across other marketing channels, including email campaigns, landing pages, affiliate creative, decks, digital ads, and company materials.
  • Contribute to paid social and growth-focused creative projects from concept through execution, helping shape strategic direction, pitching ideas aligned with business goals, and iterating quickly based on real-time performance data.
  • Partner closely with performance marketers to test, analyze, and evolve creative, applying insights related to hooks, messaging, formats, audiences, and platform best practices.
  • Tell compelling visual stories through iconography, typography, photography, animation, and infographics, creating clear, engaging creative designed to capture attention and drive conversion—particularly within paid social environments.
  • Apply and evolve the Ethos brand across key marketing channels, ensuring every touchpoint—email, lifecycle, social, advertising, landing pages, and events—feels consistent, elevated, and strategically tailored to its audience and platform.
  • Support creative for new product launches and evolving product lines, developing assets that communicate value clearly, drive engagement, and align with go-to-market strategies across paid social and supporting channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in marketing or growth design, with a portfolio demonstrating strong paid social performance work, conceptual thinking, exceptional visual execution, and conversion-driven results.
  • Deep experience designing for paid social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube), including strong knowledge of formats, platform best practices, creative trends, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to design conversion-oriented paid social and growth creative that balances craft, clarity, storytelling, and performance.
  • Advanced expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; proficiency with motion design or animation.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing funnels, audience segmentation, creative testing methodologies, and channel-specific best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to design projects end-to-end—from insights and ideation through execution, testing, and iteration.
  • Skilled in visual storytelling, hierarchy, and audience-first thinking, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with growth, marketing, and product teams, aligning creative work to broader business and performance goals.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, feedback-rich environment, with shifting priorities and evolving objectives.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback; collaborative by nature and adaptable in an iterative design process.
  • Experience in DTC, fintech, or financial services preferred, particularly with portfolios showcasing work for non-physical or digital-first products.
