We are looking for a Senior Go Developer to join our mission to create a #CyberFit future and protect all data, applications and systems across any environment.
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our engineering team in our R&D center in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Cloud2Cloud services team is responsible for the fastest-growing part of Acronis Cyber Protection for workloads like Microsoft M365, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams. Services are written in Go, and deployment is implemented using k8s infrastructure. The team actively collaborates with other teams working on Acronis Cyber Cloud. We are looking for a developer with solid software design skills, algorithmic thinking, and a willingness to learn a lot. He/ she has to be interested in developing cloud-based software focusing on reliability and scalability.

WHAT YOU'LL DO  
• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable Golang code 
• Perform code reviews, implement unit tests, debug, and integrate code 
• Work closely with other engineers (including engineers from other teams) to develop new product features 
• Suggest and implement improvements on current product functions

 

WHAT YOU BRING
• 3+ years of development experience with Golang 
• Experience with REST API 
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles (standard algorithms, data structures, multithreading, and multiprocessing) 
• Ability to work as part of a distributed international team 
• Ability to communicate in English.

• Experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)

• Experience with Kubernetes 
• Experience with Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.

 

Would be a plus: 
• Experience with MS APIs (Graph/EWS/etc)

Experience with Google cloud APIs (Drives/Mails/etc)
• Experience with messaging (RabbitMQ) 
• Knowledge of IMAP/SMTP protocols
