About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Global Payments Services Client Consultant in Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) as part of Enterprise Functions. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
In this role, you will:
  • Manage and develop payment business activities in multiple and complex markets
  • Partner with relationship managers to consult on complex specific payment solutions
  • Coordinate Request for Proposal response and proposal generation
  • Provide production support on product issues and call on financial institutional clients to address their business and product needs
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Independently resolve moderately complex issues and lead a Global Payments Sales team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of Global Payments Sales functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Global Payments Sales peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead Global Payments Sales projects and teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Global Payments Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong sales support and sales services experience
  • Correspondent Banking experience in Latin America and Caribbean markets
  • Payments and liquidity sales experience
  • Transactional banking sales experience
  • Ability to develop and manage client relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Trade sales/trade product solutions background
  • Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English
Job Expectations:
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
