Element MJH, is a data-driven, technology-enabled healthcare marketing agency located in Kansas City, MO. We are a division of MJH Life Sciences, the largest privately held medical media company in North America.

As a Mid-level Full-Stack Developer you will be responsible for the implementation of client sponsored projects.  This involves the development, configuration, and testing of web-based pages, microsites, sign-up forms, surveys, and other web tactics in an operational capacity.  You will leverage your skills in common technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript from within our internally developed platform and industry standard solutions like WordPress.  In addition to web development, you will support our Element tech stack, including our data analytics and reporting portal, reusable module or solution development, application administration, SDLC processes, and full-stack development using modern client-side frameworks and/or ASP.Net platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

1.    Collaborate with development, client services, design, and leadership teams to understand and execute project requirements.

2.    Develop visually appealing data collection forms per design and data collection specifications.

3.    Ensure the performance, responsiveness, and security of web applications.

4.    Troubleshoot, debug, and perform data and system analysis as required.

5.    Become a subject matter expert on the core applications and processes that compose the Element platform.

6.    Participate in the continued expansion and automation of processes to expedite our delivery of services to our customers, both internal and external.

7.    Provide operational support for internal and external web applications for timely resolution of issues and tasks.

Required skills and qualifications:

Candidates with a variety of experience will be considered, provided you are interested and eager to learn new skills and evolve on the job.

Eligible candidates will:

  • Have 3+ years of experience developing in standard web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap.
  • Have 2+ years developing front-end client-side frameworks.
  • Experience supporting and upgrading WordPress and plugins.
  • Experience in C# .Net and/or ASP.Net.
  • Have experience in understanding, accessing, and querying relational database structures in platforms such as Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Experience designing data models. Which includes table, index, store procedure creation.

Desired skills and Experience:

  • Experience integrating with RESTful webservices.
  • Experience designing interactive user interfaces using JQuery.
  • Experience in C# .Net and/or ASP.Net.
  • Experience with TSQL for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or later.
  • Applied examples of solving tough problems in creative ways.
  • A highly focused attention to detail.
  • A desire to learn something new every day.
