About Nue.io
Nue is the AI-powered revenue architecture platform that unifies CPQ, billing, and revenue lifecycle management into a single system. It enables companies to simplify complex pricing, automate monetization, and gain full control over how they generate and scale revenue. Working with customers such as OpenAI, Chilipiper, Glean, HootSuite, and Mews. Nue helps sales, operations, and finance teams gain revenue acceleration, operational efficiency and revenue controls at speed and scale.

What You’ll Do:
We are looking for a Senior Front-end Software Engineer to lead the user experience for Nue’s CPQ and Revenue Lifecycle products. You’ll focus on building elegant, high-performance front-end experiences in TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js, integrating deeply with our Salesforce platform using Apex and related technologies. If you care about craft, usability, and building systems that power complex quote-to-revenue workflows, this role is for you.

You’ll love this opportunity if you’re excited by the idea of building elegant, high-performance systems that redefine how modern SaaS companies manage pricing, billing, and revenue. At Nue, you’ll work across a powerful tech stack — from Java and Node.js microservices on AWS to React-based interfaces and Snowflake-powered data pipelines — solving complex challenges in scalability, automation, and financial workflows. You’ll have real ownership, shaping both product and architecture decisions in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where innovation happens daily. This is a chance to join a company on the rise, surrounded by passionate engineers and product thinkers who care deeply about craftsmanship, impact, and continuous learning.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Design and build modern, responsive UIs in React and TypeScript for CPQ, subscription lifecycle, and revenue workflows.
  • Implement reusable UI components, design patterns, and state management that keep complex user journeys simple and performant.
  • Optimize for usability, accessibility, and performance across dashboards, configurators, approvals, and lifecycle management screens.
  • Salesforce-powered CPQ Workflows
  • Collaborate with Salesforce engineers to integrate React front-ends with Salesforce Platform (APIs, Apex services, Lightning endpoints, data models).
  • Help shape UI contracts and data models for CPQ (products, bundles, pricing, discounts, approvals, contracts, renewals).
  • Contribute to or review Apex-backed APIs and flows that power front-end features.
  • Full-stack Collaboration with Node.js and Java Services
  • Work with backend engineers on Node.js and Java microservices that drive pricing, rules, and lifecycle automation.
  • Design and consume REST/GraphQL-style APIs, ensuring robustness, observability, and resilience in production.
  • Debug issues end-to-end across browser, API, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Quote-to-Cash & Subscription Lifecycle Domain
  • Develop a strong understanding of quote-to-cash, subscription management, renewals, and amendments to inform UX and technical decisions.
  • Partner with product and GTM teams to translate complex business rules into intuitive, guided user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive front-end architecture and implementation for CPQ & Lifecycle Manager features from design to production.
  • Build high-quality React/TypeScript components and front-end applications with strong attention to test coverage, performance, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce engineers to integrate UI flows with Apex, Salesforce data models, and declarative automation.
  • Work closely with backend teams to define API contracts, error handling, and edge-case behavior.
  • Participate in and lead design/architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions across the engineering team.
  • Instrument and monitor front-end applications for performance, reliability, and usage insights; use data to inform improvements.
  • Contribute to shared UI libraries, coding standards, and best practices for front-end development across Nue.
  • Mentor other engineers, sharing best practices in front-end engineering, testing, and system design.
  • Stay current with modern front-end and Salesforce ecosystem capabilities, proposing improvements to our stack and tooling as appropriate.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5–8 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end engineering.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience building complex applications with React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Solid experience with Node.js on the server side (API development, integration, or full-stack).
  • Test-driven mindset, with hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated tests; familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Mabl or similar tools
  • Strong portfolio or examples of past projects and code.
  • Working knowledge of Java in a microservices or backend context (comfortable reading, debugging, and collaborating on Java-based services).
  • Strong skills in front-end engineering fundamentals: HTML, CSS, state management, routing, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, and/or end-to-end) for front-end applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points (optional):
  • Experience with enterprise systems and large-scale integration projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, debug complex issues, and explore system designs
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with Salesforce Platform (e.g., Apex services, REST APIs, or Lightning endpoints); or strong willingness and ability to ramp quickly on Salesforce.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is CA$170,000 – CA$194,000 per year.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive compensation and benefits that reward your talent and impact.
  • Comprehensive health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • A front-row seat in the Silicon Valley tech ecosystem, where you’ll work on cutting-edge challenges shaping the future of SaaS, finance, and payments.
  • The opportunity to build truly groundbreaking products — your work won’t just support the business; it will influence how companies around the world monetize and grow.
  • A high-energy, collaborative culture where smart, supportive teammates push each other to learn fast, think boldly, and do the best work of their careers.
  • Room to grow, lead, and make your mark in a fast-scaling company that values creativity, ownership, and ambition.
