Lazer Crypto is a specialized team within Lazer, comprising more than 30 full stack, web3 native engineers dedicated to building modern dApps and web3 solutions. This team helps founders and growing teams accelerate their product launches across various blockchain ecosystems. Our notable web3 clients include Berachain, Base, Privy, Polymarket, Uniswap, Alchemy, and others.

Who You Are:
  • 6+ years of experience in both backend and frontend software development

  • Mastery of JavaScript and TypeScript with React, Node, Next.js; experience with Rust or Go is a strong plus

  • Strong eye for design and user experience is a plus

  • Expert-level web3 dApp development across EVM and/or Solana ecosystems with deep blockchain fundamentals knowledge

  • Proficiency with ecosystem-specific libraries: Web3.js/Ethers for EVM chains and/or Anchor framework/@solana/web3.js for Solana

  • Hands-on experience with development tools for EVM and/or Solana ecosystems - Hardhat, Foundry, OpenZeppelin for EVM; Anchor, Metaplex for Solana

  • Proven consulting/contracting experience with strong client management and communication skills

  • Deep expertise with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) for deploying and scaling dApps

  • Experience architecting solutions that bridge web2 and web3 systems across different blockchain architectures

  • Understanding of key differences between EVM and Solana: gas vs. rent models, transaction finality, and architectural implications

  • Self-sufficient professional who thrives with autonomy while managing client expectations and project timelines

  • Excellent communication skills for explaining technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You'll Do:
  • Embed with client teams to advise and consult founders on building dApps, protocol-level solutions, dev tooling, etc. - we work across a true variety of web3 native projects across the stack

  • Architect and develop sophisticated dApps across EVM and/or Solana ecosystems, leveraging each platform's strengths

  • Integrate dApps with existing smart contracts and programs, working within established blockchain ecosystems

  • Uplevel client engineering teams through mentorship, improved architecture, and enhanced engineering processes

  • Navigate multi-chain development complexities including asset bridging, wallet integrations, and varying transaction confirmation patterns

  • Lead technical strategy discussions with clients, managing project timelines and expectations for complex web3 solutions

  • Help grow our team's technical chops by experimenting with cutting-edge web3 tools, shipping Farcaster mini apps, and contributing back to the open source ecosystem

  • Experience with smart contract development in Solidity or Rust

  • Experience building DeFi applications and contracts

  • Experience with EVM node operations and management

  • Familiarity with the Aptos ecosystem

  • Experience with mobile development
