Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a background in development of Cloud Native applications with some exposure to Artificial Intelligence. With hands on experience on  technologies like C#, Angular, .NET Core, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server/ PostGreSQL. With LPL Financial you have the opportunity to be part of a team transforming user experiences with self-service features for the required records and documents while ensuring the platform scales utilizing the best technology and an elegant architecture.

The engineer will be a solution expert, responsible for developing solution, meeting business goals, and guiding a high velocity, multi-functional development team focused on deliverables.  The role requires that the candidate be detail-oriented, a strong problem solver, a self-starter, experienced in agile development environment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and implements complex technical solutions collaborating with senior engineers
  • Delivers end-to-end technical solutions working with distributed systems, service oriented architecture, and microservices
  • Develops high quality testable production grade code meeting continuous integration and continuous deployment goals
  • Troubleshoots and solves production issues related to performance and reliability
  • Reviews code and provides constructive feedback to peers
  • Actively participates and contributes to scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, and retrospectives
  • Estimates story points and tasks, and communicates estimates to team members and stakeholders
  • Communicates risks associated with feature development to manager
  • Participates in design discussions and makes recommendations for technical approaches

  • People - Get to know LPL and the Team! 
  • Process - Understand the current state of LPL processes and align with the vision and mission of the firm. Gain the Business understanding of the application and requirements to understand the "what" we are solving for and the key outcomes
  • Technology - Understand the current state of the LPL Technology and platforms and the application as well. Also understand the roadmap for the application and start participating with hands on developments and delivery.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands on developments experience designing Cloud Native applications, integrating with other systems using technologies like - .NET, C#, .Net Core, Angular, MS SQL server, PostgreSQL.
  • 2+ years of experience on Cloud Native development preferably on AWS with exposure to EKS, API Gateway, Cloud security, Terraform etc.
  • 2+ years of Experience of working with DevOps tools, CICD pipelines and Observability.
  • 2+ years of Hands on experience in understanding of Data & its Schema with experience in writing/improving SQL server procedures, Views, functions, indexes and performance tuning.
  • Exposure to AI/ML with understanding of LLMs.

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge in designing, refactoring, and unit testing
  • Knowledge of code refactoring, debugging, test driven design
  • Knowledge of design patterns

Preferences:

  • Exposure to Regulatory Processes in context of Financial Domain.
  • Exposure to Camunda or other BPM tools.
  • Experience working with third party vendors or SaaS providers.
  • AWS Certified

 

Pay Range:

$106,125-$176,875/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
