The Senior Frontend Engineer will develop web applications using React, design GraphQL APIs, and collaborate with fintech teams for data analytics and user experience improvements.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer with expertise in React, NextJs and fintech applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a deep understanding of financial services, enabling them to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive innovative solutions in the fintech space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable front-end applications.
- Collaborate with design, product, and back-end engineering teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Engage in daily hands-on programming in React.js for new and existing services.
- Participate in peer code reviews, design/review sessions, and synchronization meetings.
- Actively participate in normal Scrum activities, including stand-ups, grooming, planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency as a React.js / Next.js front-end developer, with experience in mid-sized systems and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated ability to develop complex UI workflows and reusable library components.
- Experience in creating functional and usable web interfaces, including integration with backend APIs.
- Previous experience working on a platform team, serving other teams, with a strong focus on component APIs and boundaries.
- Knowledgeable in web accessibility best practices and challenges.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and provide regular development updates.
- A self-starter who is accountable, capable of working independently with limited direction, and proactive in identifying and raising blockers.
