Our Senior Financial Analyst is an integral member of the Finance Team.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading key budgeting and forecasting processes, owning monthly variance analysis, providing financial insight across the business, and identifying process improvements.  Working collaboratively with Product Engineering, IT, Hosting, Product Development, and Customer Success, this role is critical to our highly data-driven organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting processes by partnering with multiple departments to ensure alignment with business and corporate objectives

  • Perform variance and trend analysis between actual, budget, and forecast targets

  • Influence business decisions via finance partnership, including development and maintenance of financial models and ad-hoc reporting

  • Leverage tools and systems to quickly access data and present meaningful, concise information to management

  • Prepare and deliver board reporting packages, including financial summaries and strategic insights

  • Contribute to the evolution of financial models, tools, and dashboards to support scalable growth

  • Maintain ownership of capital expenditure (CapEx) tracking and reporting

What you’ll need:

  • A BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business or STEM discipline

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting, FP&A/Financial Analyst or quantitative analysis role; SaaS/Software industry a plus

  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (pivot tables, logic formulas, linking, etc.); experience with NetSuite ERP and Planful financial performance management tools a plus

  • Exceptional attention to detail and an insatiably inquisitive nature; having a desire to understand the business behind the numbers is an important factor in success

  • Desire to be an independent worker with ability to conduct research, analyze data and problem solve

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentations skills, and an appreciation for collaboration across a diverse group of people

  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of analytics and reporting, attention to detail and collaboration while leveraging NAVEX’s core values

  • The starting pay range for this role is $90,000+ per annum.
