About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Finance and Business teams by delivering meaningful insights, improving reporting, and enhancing cross-functional processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, independent problem-solving, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. The role will partner closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and IT to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable information is available to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What You'll Do
- Own the investigation and resolution of data mismatches across systems like Oracle, Salesforce, Tableau, and Snowflake (particularly related to billing, transactions, and financial reporting), troubleshooting and resolving issues independently before escalating, and documenting solutions in a clear, repeatable way.
- Partner with Sales Ops, Accounting, and Procurement to build and refine processes that support scale and accuracy, proactively identifying friction points and leading improvements that enhance transparency and cross-functional alignment.
- Lead analytical workstreams and develop reporting that enhances visibility into key business metrics, ensuring outputs are well-organized, easy to interpret, and reliable for decision-making without additional explanation.
- Drive forward projects without waiting for next steps to be handed to you (this is a role that requires autonomy and accountability), owning your work from end to end and consistently following through without reminders or rework.
- Support financial close activities and ensure data flowing into downstream systems aligns with actual business activity, operating with urgency and prioritizing effectively to meet tight timelines and business-critical deliverables.
- Maintain and run the company’s 3-statement financial model, summarize insights, and present findings to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Build tools and frameworks (dashboards, reconciliations, working files) that others in the organization can rely on, designed with clarity, consistency, and self-service usability in mind.
- Handle a wide range of tasks depending on the business need, from account reconciliations to ad hoc financial modeling or process documentation, adapting quickly and communicating status updates proactively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Stay on top of systemic issues and bottlenecks, proactively escalating and proposing solutions, while also anticipating downstream impacts and offering practical fixes.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or operational finance roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA designation a plus.
- Strong business judgment and natural curiosity. You don’t just accept the numbers, you investigate and explain them.
- Proven ability to work through ambiguity, spot what's missing, and take initiative to resolve it.
- A strong sense of ownership. You follow up, follow through, and bring tasks to the finish line without reminders.
- Clear, concise communicator who adds clarity (not confusion), and makes cross-functional collaboration easier.
- Comfortable operating independently, managing analysis, communication, and accountability end to end.
- Highly reliable with a track record of getting things done without being micromanaged.
- Advanced Excel skills and fluency working with large datasets; Tableau or other BI tool experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools like Oracle, Salesforce, Snowflake, or Datarails
- Ability to operate with urgency and focus in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Familiarity with lead-to-cash processes and contract workflow operations is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience improving or building financial or operational processes to enhance transparency and reduce friction is preferred.
- Experience developing and managing cross-system reconciliations (e.g., reconciling data between source systems and Tableau) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of how enterprise systems (such as Salesforce, Oracle, Snowflake) integrate and communicate with one another is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely
- Excellent health benefits that begin on your first day of employment
- $100 monthly fitness allotment, a tuition reimbursement program, and enhanced mental health resources
- 401(k) plan with generous company match, and annual profit sharing contribution (subject to company performance)
- PTO, Floating Holidays, Wellness Day Off, Birthday Day Off, and more!
