Day in the Life of a Senior Financial Analyst

  • Drive and maintain financial reporting models, framework, and presentation formats.

  • Support the finance team in the design, maintenance, and presentation of annual budgets, forecasting, and expense management processes

  • Monthly financial reporting preparation and variance reviews

  • Prepare analytical models for new business and/or service-line; explore cost savings projects, capital project evaluation, competitive analyses, and payor profitability.

  • Assist with account special projects as needed

  • Assist accounting with month-end close process, inclusive of journal entry review and/or preparation

Location

  • Remote with some travel to Corporate monthly/quarterly as needed (Greenville, SC).

Education and Requirements

  • Exposure to large dataset management and model development with some experience with cloud data warehouse and enterprise data analytics platforms.

  • Fluent with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting key business decisions through detailed analytics.

  • Experience with Sage Intacct, Great Plains / MS Dynamics, or comparable enterprise accounting information system.

  • Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management and/or revenue recognition, a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly detailed-oriented, and demonstrated organizational skills

  • 3 to 5 years of minimum experience in accounting, corporate finance, business analytics, or a related discipline. Healthcare experience a plus.

  • BA/BS in accounting, finance, or related discipline required.
