We are now looking for a Field Applications Engineer! NVIDIA’s AI solutions have already made a major impact on the field and are broadly used across leading academic institutions, start-ups, and industry, including the world’s largest enterprise companies. This Field Applications Engineering role is for a specialist in system design, networking, and leader to our customers who are working to deliver world class datacenter platforms and AI solutions.

NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding FAE with a focus on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. Your primary responsibilities will be technical engagement for OEM system design-in of NVIDIA AI computing solutions. Your role will involve working across functions within our organizations while also ensuring a positive experience for external customers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be a technical specialist on datacenter products directly supporting our partner engineering groups, sales account managers, and working closely with the wider team to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions

  • Solving complex hardware design-in and deployment issues

  • Provide onsite support for system design-in engagements with our partners.

  • Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer’s engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.

  • Provide technical support for the deployments of our partners enterprise deployments.

  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.

  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

  • 6+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.

  • In-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware

  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a multifaceted environment.

  • Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise server design

  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.

  • Knowledge -- PCIe, Platform management, Infiniband, ethernet, etc.

  • Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.

  • Experience working with OEMs in the enterprise compute, AI, and HPC space.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 132,000 USD - 207,000 USD for Level 3, and 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
