Cybercrime is rising, reaching record highs in 2024. According to the FBI's IC3 report total losses exceeded $16 billion. With investment fraud and BEC scams at the forefront, the message is clear: the real estate sector remains a lucrative target for cybercriminals. At CertifID, we take this threat seriously and provide a secure platform that verifies the identities of parties involved in transactions, authenticates wire transfer instructions, and detects potential fraud attempts. Our technology is designed to mitigate risks and ensure that every transaction is conducted with confidence and peace of mind.

We know we couldn’t take on this challenge without our incredible team. We have been recognized as one of the Best Startups to Work for in Austin, made the Inc. 5000 list, and won Best Culture by Purpose Jobs two years in a row. We are guided by our core values and our vision of a world without wire fraud. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to meaningful impact and be part of a team dedicated to enhancing security and fighting fraud.

CertifID is seeking a Senior Events Manager to own our event strategy end-to-end — from industry conferences and trade shows to owned demand generation events and customer experiences. This leader will build the systems, relationships, and execution engine that make CertifID's presence at every event count.

Reporting to the CMO, you will set strategy, manage vendors and budgets, and collaborate across marketing, sales, and product to ensure every event drives measurable business impact.

What You Will Own and Deliver

  • Event Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Build and execute the event plan that drives awareness, pipeline, and customer engagement.
  • Own CertifID's annual events calendar across trade shows, conferences, owned events, and virtual experiences
  • Define event objectives, target audiences, and success metrics tied to demand generation and revenue goals
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the full portfolio of event opportunities — ensuring every dollar and hour invested delivers ROI
  • Develop a tiered sponsorship and participation framework that scales with company growth
  • Align event strategy with campaign calendars, product launches, and sales priorities
  • Event Execution & Logistics
  • Run flawless events that reflect CertifID's brand and create meaningful buyer experiences.
  • Own end-to-end execution for all events: venue sourcing, vendor management, logistics, booth design, staffing, and on-site operations
  • Manage event budgets with rigor — forecasting, tracking, and optimizing spend across the portfolio
  • Partner with marketing to ensure brand presence, messaging, and materials are consistent and compelling
  • Coordinate cross-functional event teams including sales, product, and leadership to maximize impact at every touchpoint
  • Build repeatable playbooks and processes that drive efficiency and quality at scale
  • Pipeline & Performance Measurement
  • Connect event activity to business outcomes and continuously raise the bar.
  • Track and report on event pipeline contribution, lead generation, and customer engagement outcomes
  • Establish pre- and post-event processes including outreach, follow-up coordination, and CRM hygiene in partnership with sales ops
  • Run post-event retrospectives to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement
  • Build dashboards and reporting that give leadership clear visibility into event ROI
  • Use data and insights to inform future event investments and strategy evolution

What You'll Do

  • Own and manage CertifID's full events portfolio from strategy through execution and measurement
  • Build and maintain vendor, venue, and agency relationships that support a high-quality, cost-efficient event program
  • Partner with demand generation, content, and brand teams to ensure integrated campaign support around events
  • Develop and manage the annual events budget with accountability for performance
  • Lead internal event coordination across sales, product, marketing, and leadership
  • Create standardized event playbooks, timelines, and processes to drive repeatability and scale
  • Present event strategy, performance, and recommendations to marketing and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in event management, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology
  • Proven track record owning event strategy and execution end-to-end, including trade shows, conferences, and owned events
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Experience managing event budgets and tracking ROI
  • Excellent cross-functional collaborator with strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented executor who can also operate strategically
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities

Bonus Points

  • Experience in fintech, cybersecurity, real estate, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or Salesforce for lead capture and event reporting
  • Experience building or scaling an events function from early to growth stage
  • Background in demand generation or integrated campaign marketing
