About the Role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Engineering Manager to lead 3 of our product engineering squads (10+ ICs and growing) building PushPress Core, our member management and billing platform. As a hands-on technical leader, you will drive innovation, foster collaboration, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software that empowers gym owners worldwide.
We are looking for a leader with a strong execution mindset and early-stage startup experience, who can provide technical guidance, collaborate effectively with product and business teams, and directly contribute to the success of the platform..
What You'll Do
- Lead 3 product engineering squads of 10+ ICs (web, mobile, QA) to deliver our flagship platform
- Roll up your sleeves and solve problems alongside the team to accelerate development
- Provide technical mentorship and help engineers reach their full potential
- Establish a culture of engineering excellence and operational rigor
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define and ship innovative solutions
- Drive recruiting to build a diverse and talented teamIdentify and drive initiatives to increase productivity and code quality
What You'll Need
- 3+ years experience as an Engineering Manager leading high-performing teams
- 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React)
- Track record of shipping products at early-stage, high-growth startups
- Ability to lead technical architecture discussions and dive deep into the code
- Strong sense of ownership and bias for action
- Excellent communication skills and product/business collaboration ability
- Passion for health/fitness and empowering small businesses with technology
