Make Your Mark:
As a Senior Engagement Manager, you are an experienced leader responsible for the successful delivery of our largest and most complex customer-facing projects. You are accountable for orchestrating the efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver on our commitments, on time and within budget. You will establish and lead project governance, including steering committees with senior customer stakeholders, and serve as the primary point of accountability for the success of these high-visibility engagements. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on complex project delivery and senior stakeholder management, with no direct reports.
You'll Get To:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream projects for large Enterprise customers.
  • Establish and direct project governance, including facilitating steering committee meetings to report on progress, manage expectations, and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans for large, multi-phase engagements, coordinating dependencies across multiple internal and customer teams.
  • Partner with customer leadership to ensure project execution aligns with their stated business objectives and success criteria.
  • Manage project-level risks, issues, and scope changes, ensuring a clear escalation path and proactive resolution.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
  • Drive the adoption of established delivery methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our best practices.
  • Mentor and guide Engagement Managers and project team members, fostering their growth and ensuring delivery excellence.

What You'll Bring:
  • Extensive experience (e.g., 7+ years) in managing large-scale, enterprise-level SaaS implementation projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-phase projects with significant budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience leading executive-level steering committees and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Expertise in formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, PRINCE2) and advanced project management tools.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect project delivery to stated business objectives and value realization.

Salary Range:
USD $128,000.00/Yr. - USD $161,000.00/Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location.
In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
We are committed to pay transparency and ensuring candidates have clear information about compensation expectations. For roles that include variable incentive components such as an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) or On-Target Earnings (OTE), the compensation structure may follow a split model - for example, a 50/50, 70/30, or 60/40 ratio between base salary and variable incentive.
