Your Responsibilities
- Researching, designing, and testing circuit functions and user interfaces to meet company and customer needs.
- Incorporate customer requirements, product specifications and regulations into the design, ensuring compliance with MML (Mirrors) development process, reliability, quality, timing, cost, safety and manufacturing feasibility.
- Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for performance enhancements, cost reductions, or other modifications/improvements.
- Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting hardware defects.
- Conduct effective design reviews with peers, suppliers and customers when required.
- Consults and collaborates internally and externally to create robust electro-mechanical systems.
- Effectively communicates with the product team, suppliers, customers, and the manufacturing plant with minimal guidance from engineering management and personnel.
- Investigating new components and technologies for future product applications.
- Creating technical specifications and test plans.
- Working closely with other staff, such as project managers, sales and marketing professionals.
- Consulting clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information, clarify details and implement information.
- Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.
- Problem-solving and thinking laterally as part of a team, or individually, to best meet the needs of the project.
- Must be able to operate standard and specialized equipment/tools related to the job. Ability to calculate and analyze data, generate reports, present information, etc.
- Understand various levels of communication protocol such as LIN, CAN and others such as I2C, UART.
- ASPICE, ALM, PLM, Sprints, WCCA, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Repository, Version Control, Design Reviews, Bench Testing, Unit Testing, System Testing, Plywood Buck, Vehicle Testing are key to the success of the team.

Your Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering / 4-6 years experience
- Demonstrated ability in launching a product with a customer.
- Understanding of impact and interdependence within field of expertise.
- Complete understanding of engineering design, development and associated manufacturing processes.
- Deep and wide technical understanding and up to date on new methods and technologies in the field of expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to execute complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision
