Cytel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Product Solutions to lead our North American software commercial strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategic commercial initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market share for Cytel's suite of software products. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Responsibilities

•    Develop and implement strategic plans to help achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability for Cytel's software solutions.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including C-suite executives, decision-makers, and influencers.
•    Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative strategies to expand Cytel's customer base and penetrate new markets.
•    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure alignment and execution of initiatives.
•    Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
•    Represent Cytel at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to promote our brand, showcase our products, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
•    Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, and uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct in all activities.
 

Qualifications
  • Must possess biostatistics and drug development expertise within niche software.
  • Must have an advanced degree in biostatistics, science, or business.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in drug development.
  • Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, including an understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinker with results-oriented mindset & proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Willingness to travel as needed (30% domestically).
