Sr Director of Sales – National Role 
Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer 
Location: US Based, Remote (Up to 50% travel) 
 
Position Overview 
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Sales to lead our national sales organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth by building, developing, and scaling a high-performing sales team. The Sr Director of Sales will manage our Sales Directors and Sales Managers, with overall responsibility for Territory Managers/Sales Representatives across the country. 
The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader with the ability to recruit, mentor, and retain top talent, while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and professional growth. This individual must be an excellent communicator, strategist, and operator with experience scaling sales organizations in complex healthcare or pharmacy environments. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead, coach, and develop sales leaders 
- Create and execute succession planning and talent development strategies to prepare future leaders. 
- Establish a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 

Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Partner with the CRO to design and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives. 
- Set and monitor sales goals, KPIs, and metrics to ensure consistent performance and accountability. 
- Develop territory strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue growth. 

Talent Acquisition & Growth:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential sales professionals at all levels. 
- Build a scalable sales organization capable of driving sustained growth. 
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to strengthen individual and team performance. 

Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as a key member of the revenue leadership team, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and operations. 
- Represent the sales organization in executive discussions, providing data-driven insights and recommendations. 
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to advance the company’s growth initiatives. 

Market Expansion & Customer Focus:
- Leverage deep understanding of the pharmacy, healthcare, and compounding industry to identify new opportunities. 
- Ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer experiences and fosters long-term relationships. 
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes impacting 503A compounding pharmacies. 

Qualifications 
- 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including at the director level. 
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams in healthcare, pharmacy, or related industries. 
- Strong background in managing multi-layered sales organizations (reps, managers, directors). 
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and people development skills. 
- Demonstrated ability to set strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable results. 
- Comfortable with a remote work environment and extensive travel (up to 50%). 
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related field (MBA preferred).
