The Senior Director of Sales Engineering will hire, mentor, and lead a team of sales engineers, support technical sales cycles, and represent the company at industry events.

What you will do
- Recruit and hire new Sales Engineers into the territory, and provide mentorship and training to them once onboard
- Your team will support all aspects of the technical sales cycle and you will report to the Head of Americas Sales
- Represent Sysdig at events and conferences (with travel to major US offices, industry events and customer engagements)
- Conduct virtual and live product demonstrations
- Provide an escalation point for feature requests and technical issues
What you will bring with you
- 10+ years technical sales experience with SaaS cloud technologies, security, or enterprise software and 5+ years managing a sales engineering team
- Significant Fortune 500 Customer facing experience
- History of success working with individuals who have different areas of expertise and technical ability
- Experience working in a matrix-based organization to achieve results
- Prior startup experience highly recommended

The U.S. annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $294,000 and 404,800 USD/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
