ID5 enables addressable and measurable advertising to support the growth of the digital economy and provide free and safe access to content and services. Technical changes, signal loss, and increasingly more stringent data protection regulations require new, advanced technologies that enable audience addressability while respecting people’s privacy preferences.

ID5 has risen to this challenge and developed solutions that support publishers’ and marketers’ need for better addressability. Its laser focus on Identity sets it apart from competitive solutions and enables the company to offer the most advanced and sophisticated identity services to over 100,000 media properties, and hundreds of technology platforms and advertisers, making it the most adopted identity solution in the market.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Director of Publisher Development to lead our US publisher acquisition and growth strategy. This is a senior, strategic individual contributor role with a clear progression path toward building and managing a small, high-performing team in the short to mid term. The person in this role will be responsible for securing strategic partnerships with leading publishers, with a strong emphasis on Tier 1 media owners, and ensuring they are fully onboarded, activated, and achieving long-term success with ID5 solutions.

The Senior Director will also design and implement a scalable strategic account management framework that strengthens relationships, deepens adoption, and expands revenue opportunities. Success in this role will require a combination of commercial acumen, market insight, understanding of the current challenges and opportunities that media owners are facing and the ability to influence at the executive level. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact in a high-growth company that is shaping the future of identity in digital advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and secure partnerships with Tier 1 publishers in the US, with a focus on both established and emerging formats including display, video, connected TV, audio, retail media, and gaming.
  • Oversee the full publisher lifecycle, from leading prospecting and pitching, to supporting during onboarding and technical integration, and collaborating to create long-term strategic growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a structured account management framework that drives publisher activation, ensures the achievement of agreed outcomes, and positions ID5 as a trusted long-term partner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on identity, addressability, and privacy-first advertising, helping publishers navigate industry changes and capitalise on new monetisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, solutions consulting, and legal teams to develop compelling go-to-market strategies and value propositions for publishers.
  • Build senior-level relationships within publisher organisations to uncover new opportunities, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and secure long-term commitments.
  • Lay the groundwork for building and leading a small publisher development and account management team, establishing best practices, processes, and performance standards from the outset.

About You

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in adtech or digital media, with a track record of success in publisher development, business development, strategic partnerships or enterprise account management.
  • Strong and current network of senior decision-makers within leading US publishers, ideally spanning across the web, mobile and CTV ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close complex partnership deals and to manage strategic accounts that deliver measurable growth.
  • Exceptional strategic thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture, identify the highest-value opportunities for both our partners and ID5, and translate that vision into clear, actionable plans while executing effectively at a tactical level.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing account management frameworks that drive client satisfaction, account expansion and long-term engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and commercially compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in leading or the clear potential to lead a small, high-impact team in the near future.
  • Based in the United States, preferably in the East Coast or Central time zones to align with client and internal team needs.
