The Impact You Will Make
As Senior Director of Organizational & People Development, you will lead an enterprise talent strategy that integrates learning, organizational development, and leader enablement to build the capabilities and effectiveness required to deliver exceptional outcomes to our university partners and the adult learners they serve. At this pivotal point in Risepoint’s Business Transformation, you will align organizational development, learning and change enablement to business priorities and enable better execution, higher productivity and faster adoption of automation and AI.
Partnering closely with People Business Partners and cross-functional leaders, you will assess organizational needs, diagnose capability and operating barriers, and translate insights into targeted development and change interventions. You will design high-impact learning experiences and organizational development solutions that strengthen leader enablement, team effectiveness, role clarity, operating model adoption, and culture and behavior change—embedding development into the flow of work to accelerate sustainable results.
In this role, you will oversee and evolve existing flagship learning experiences while building scalable programs that reinforce critical skills and behaviors across the enterprise. A core focus is leading AI upskilling and adoption at scale. You will design and launch AI learning and change enablement programs that help teams use AI to improve quality, speed, and effectiveness in day-to-day work. You will ensure learning is accessible, inclusive, and measurable, modeling a learner-first mindset and using clear metrics to demonstrate impact and continuously improve.
What You Will Do
- Own and evolve Risepoint Organizational & People development strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned to Risepoint’s strategic priorities including expanding Risepoint’s AI Upskilling Program to meet the needs of the Business Transformation
- Lead a high-performing team; define roles, expectations, growth discussions, and ways of working
- Scale and refine Leader and Manager development programs to emphasize our REACH values and connect with clear business outcomes.
- Lead enterprise organizational development initiatives that strengthen leader effectiveness, team performance, role clarity, and adoption of new ways of working to enable sustainable change
- Strengthen Risepoint Orientation to accelerate time-to-impact while instilling a strong day one connection to Risepoint’s mission, ways of working and shared expectations
- Build a modern learning ecosystem that enables Risepoint employees to learn and grow in their careers (LMS/LXP, curated digital content, targeted cohorts, live workshops, just-in-time performance support)
- Partner with cross-functional People Leadership - Talent Cultivation, People Business Partners, People Experience - to integrate learning into impact, career growth, succession planning, and culture initiatives
- Create systems and structures to lead needs assessments, learning design, facilitation strategies, and evaluation plans using adult learning and instructional design best practices
- Establish measurement and analytics for learning effectiveness (adoption, proficiency, behavior change, business impact) and communicate insights to executives
- Develop and manage the Organizational & People Development vendor strategy and external partnerships (facilitators, content providers, assessment tools)

How Impact Will be Measured in the First Year
- Launch an enterprise Org & People Development strategy and 12–18-month roadmap with prioritized programs, including phase 2 of the AI Upskilling Program, incorporating clear success metrics
- Evolve the Leadership Accelerator to increase differentiation and develop the right leadership skills in the right moment for people leaders
- Implement a learning measurement framework and dashboard (participation, completion, proficiency, and business outcomes where feasible); Build a sustainable operating rhythm with key stakeholders (quarterly needs reviews, governance, and program retrospectives)
- Establish a vendor and content strategy that increases organizational adoption and directly impacts business outcomes
Experience That Matters Most
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Learning & Development, with enterprise-level scope in a fast-growing company with more than 2500 employees
- 4+ years of team leadership, including coaching, impact management, and team development
- Demonstrated success designing and scaling manager/leader development and onboarding programs tied to business outcomes
- Led enterprise-wide organizational efforts related to building capability (leaders, teams) to operate differently and change management programs related not only to understanding change but more importantly driving adoption and measure mindset change and improved collaboration/decision-making
- Built toolkits for future-ready org design and workforce planning, delivering role clarity and data-driven insights that help leaders take action
- Data-driven approach to program evaluation, measurement, and continuous improvement; comfort translating insights for executive audiences
Experience That's Great to Have
- Experience leading remote teams and designing learning at scale across multiple functions
- Track record of leading change through influence, stakeholder management, and strong cross-functional partnership
- Background in education technology, higher education, B2B services, or mission-driven organizations
